I am an Associate Professor and the Chair of the Department of Management and Marketing in the College of Business and Technology at East Tennessee State University, where I teach classes in Strategic Leadership. My research interests fall within 4 broad domains: 1) job performance, 2) leadership, 3) training and development, and 4) individual differences in work behavior. My work has been published in outlets such as the Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, the Journal of Vocational Behavior, and the Journal of Business and Psychology. I am a member of the Academy of Management, the Society for Human Resource Management, the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, the American Psychological Association, and the Association for Psychological Science. I also provide consulting services within the domains of human resource management and organizational development, particularly in the areas of employee selection and performance management.
