Aaron has worked in higher education fundraising for 5 years at ETSU and Emmanual Christian Seminary (Milligan College). He has served as a development director for a faith-based non-profit serving homeless families and children (Family Promise of Greater Johnson City) for 2 1/2 years. In a “past life” he was a middle school teacher for five years, serving in public, private parochial, and private non-parochial schools in three different states. Aaron is passionate about faith-based human service and non-profit work, particularly the intersection of fundraising, community development, and theology/ecclesiology. He holds a BA in History from Milligan and a Masters of Public Administration with a Non-Profit Management concentration from ETSU. Aaron is married with three kids and has been a long-time member and lay leader at Hopwood Christian Church.
