Head out to TVA Credit Union Ballpark for FoundersForge’s seventh annual Startup Pitch Competition. See some of the region’s top startups pitch their ideas to a panel of experienced investors and entrepreneurs for a chance to win 10k in cash prizes!
What Is a Pitch Competition?
Similar to the TV Show Shark Tank, local entrepreneurs will pitch their ideas within 5 minutes for a chance to win cash prizes. If they go over time, they will be met with a buzzer and have to immediately stop! This time limit forces the entrepreneurs to take their ideas and explain them in a simple, straightforward way. It’s a great event to watch and you might just get inspired to launch your own startup!
This event is open to anyone to attend! It’s inspiring to see the innovation happening in our region. Add in the free food, drinks, announcements, and you have an entertaining night for the entire family! Join us at this year’s event.
What Do They Win?
Each year, the local community comes together to support innovation. Our partners provide the prize money and in the past, it’s been as high as $10,000! What would you do with $10k to make your ideas a reality? Come pitch and show us!
Who can Pitch? How Do I Pitch?
This competition is open to the whole community! You simply need an idea and the drive to work on a pitch! Most of our contestants spend weeks perfecting their message.
But you are not on your own! We will show you how to pitch at our training sessions and provide feedback to help you have every chance at winning!
