Startup Media Day

While COVID-19 has created many challenges in our region, it’s also created unique opportunities for growth. Despite the hardships, many of our region’s high-growth** Startups have continued to succeed, reach milestones, and grow in our region. New Startups have also been launched because of the new opportunities this pandemic has created.

Startup Media Day is an event by FoundersForge to connect these stories to our local and regional press in a concise, pitch-style, event. Startups will have ~5mins to tell the audience who they are, announce their news, and provide contact information.

The Press then can connect with them at the end of the event to setup full interviews, stories, and more. The connections made after Startup Media Day will help keep the stories flowing as our region continues to grow as an Entrepreneurial hub in Tennessee.

Information for the Press:

This is a free event for you to attend and we hope you will actively participate by attending, asking questions, and following up after the event. Startups are notorious for keeping their heads down and working hard to achieve success. Your stories and connections not only help them grow, it also helps our region tell its Entrepreneurial story to the regional community. If we can be of help during or after the event, please let us know and we’ll be of service as soon as possible!

Startups are required to submit 3-5 slides that cover

• Startup’s Name and What You Do
• Your News and Announcements
• Your Contact Info for Follow up

More than 5 slides will not be accepted. Past announcements are ok to present if they are fairly recent or were not previously well covered.
